Meet Nilla, Our Gentle Companion in Healing

A calm presence with a wagging tail and a loving heart

Nilla is a Certified Therapy Dog through The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc., bringing warmth, comfort, and joy to everyone she meets. Whether she’s offering a quiet moment of peace or helping ease anxiety in a therapy session, Nilla reminds us that sometimes, healing begins with unconditional love.

Benefits of a Pet Therapy Visit

Where science and heart come together

Pet therapy has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression while promoting connection and calm. Interacting with therapy dogs can lower blood pressure, spark joy, and help clients open up in ways that feel safe and natural. The human–animal bond nurtures both emotional and physical well-being.

What We Do

Bringing comfort and connection to every setting

Our therapy dog team is available for visits in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, libraries, wellness events, and more. Nilla also joins Dr. Key in sessions at Key to Change Counseling and classes at Monmouth University to help reduce stress, ease social anxiety, and create a warm, welcoming environment for clients and students.

Nilla in Action

Whether greeting students at the University, offering calm during therapy, or sharing joy at community events, Nilla’s gentle spirit brings comfort wherever she goes
